About
Who is Sathaiah?
N. Sathaiah is a story listener, film observer, and lover of Tamil cinema. For many years, he has listened to more than 500 stories, met storytellers, and closely witnessed the journey of films from inception to screen.
What you find here is neither a set of rules for filmmaking nor a formula for success. It is the experience of an observer, the notes of a listener, and the reflections of someone constantly searching for the next great storyteller.

About Dinesh
Dinesh played an important role in the design of Starlight Reels. He was the one who added structure and organization to work that had been done independently over many years. His work has been critical in developing an identity for this endeavor, including the name "Starlight Reels" as well as bringing together the people who have helped convert it into a functional platform.
His keen eye and ability to listen have been invaluable throughout this process. Remembering even the smallest things from years ago and detecting them precisely when they appear on screen in a film has always been a distinguishing feature of his perspective.
People may walk into a theatre for a star. But they return for a story.
My Philosophy of Cinema
